Learning to Make Positive Choices
Anthony Mills, 13 years old, "I like to go to the studio, to computer class, drama and all the workshops. Since I've been going to CCA, I've stopped doing the things I used to do, like fighting. Ire calmed me down and told me that nothing good would come from fighting.
We go to places to volunteer. This summer I volunteered at a football camp. CCA gave me a mentor. Every weekend, he takes me places, like the movies, the arcade, lots of places."
Mary Mills describes how Anthony has benefited from the program, "My grandson is being involved in positive things. They teach him how to be responsible."
