Court Services

Court Services programs are the core work of the Center for Community Alternatives (CCA). Since 1981, services have expanded from sentencing mitigation work to include a women's day treatment center, the development of a drug court, youth advocacy services and more.

Today in New York City and Syracuse, programming includes a range of alternative-to-incarceration services for youth and adults, sentencing mitigation services, including death penalty mitigation, and dispositional planning in family court. In addition, CCA in Syracuse offers substance abuse evaluation and referral, and reentry programs and a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) program.
