Syracuse Recovery Community

Reentry

The Self-Development Reentry program serves young offenders ages 16-24 as they are approaching release from the Onondaga County Correctional Facility. Services include pre release transitional planning and empowerment groups, special "day of release" support, year long post release case management matching with community mentors, employment, mental health, relapse prevention, educational and other services. The program objectives are to ensure a smooth transition to the community, access to comprehensive employment, education and support services, and reduced recidivism.

CCA leads a consortium of agencies in Syracuse which working together to meet the needs of young offenders and build safe, connected communities.
