Meetings & Events
The Recovery Network conducts its General Business Meetings bi-weekly on Mondays at 7:00 p.m., at the office of:

Activities provided through the Recovery Network of New York include:
- Recovery Readiness Groups at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. everyday
- Men's Group on Thursdays (Men to Manhood, curriculum-based)
- Women's Group on Tuesdays and Thursdays
- Peer trainings throughout the month, e.g., Orientation, Group Facilitation, Ethics Confidentiality and Boundaries, Office Etiquette, Conflict Resolution, Peer Pressure, and Career Planning
- Developing soft skills by assisting Outreach Specialist with outreach activities, e.g., presentations at various treatment facilities, participation in community events (Juneteenth, Recovery Month, etc.)
- Computer Literacy on Mondays and Wednesdays from 12:30 p.m. - 1:45 p.m.
- Civic Restoration services for active members
- Jobs Plus placement site (offering job readiness skills for job seekers)
- Computer usage five days a week for jobs searches, resume formatting, and checking/creating e-mail accounts
- Availability of office equipment for faxing, copying, long distance calls to government institutions, etc.
- Monthly DOH rapid HIV/AIDS counseling and testing on site
- Monthly presentations from various community-based organizations
- Fun Fridays -- members and their families/friends can enjoy a “safe haven” for networking, movies, playing cards, and chess
