Martin Hewitt is Special Counsel, Capital Markets at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver& Jacobson LLP. He is the incoming president of the Syracuse Orchestra, and serves on the board of the Milton J. Rubenstein Museum of Science and Technology in Syracuse, New York.

Martin is a commissioner on the American Bar Association Commission on Law and Aging, Chair of the American Bar Association Sub-Committee on Cannabis Law, fellow at the American Bar Fellowship, immediate past chair of the American Bar Association Committee on the State Regulation of Securities, and former president of Temple B’nai Shalom in East Brunswick, NJ.

He is also a member of the American Bar Association Lawyers of Color Network and the Pride Alliance ERG at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP.

Martin graduated from the University of Rochester with a BA in philosophy and earned his JD from Seton Hall School of Law.
