CCA's CUSE Center provides peer-led recovery support services for youth and adults in Syracuse and Onondaga County. We believe recovery is an ongoing, community-driven process.
CCA's CUSE center is a space for healing, skill-building, and leadership to improve health, wellness and quality of life. Together, we co-create supportive environments that build on the strengths of individuals in recovery and those impacted by systems of criminalization and incarceration.
Our resources include recovery support groups, life skills groups, sober social and recreational activities, and family support.
CCA's CUSE Center also offers clubhouse and afterschool activities for youth in recovery, including the Recovery Music Program, a space for creativity, healing, and transformation through music. Youth learn about different musical styles and use music as a way to process and express their emotions. They have the opportunity to record their own music, participate in podcast sessions, and gain hands-on experience in a professional recording studio. Through the creative process, young people gain powerful tools for healing, expression, and growth.
